Urban Cultures at the Heart of Manosque

Born in 2022 from the initiative of a group of passionate young skaters, Festival Endurance has become the reference event for urban cultures in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department. Supported by the MJC of Manosque (La Capsule), the festival offers a rich and eclectic program each year centered on the three pillars of hip-hop: dance, beat making, and rap.

An Immersive and Multidisciplinary Program

Festival Endurance spans several days and offers a varied and ambitious program. Concerts are the highlight of the event, with a 100% hip-hop closing evening bringing together professional artists and emerging talents from the region. The 2-on-2 breaking battles and beat making battles, organized in partnership with Ableton, allow local practitioners to compete under the watchful eyes of professional juries composed of recognized figures from the hip-hop scene.

The festival also features DJ sets mixing hip-hop and R&B, master classes on media and rap, documentary screenings followed by round tables with specialized journalists, and open mic sessions allowing local rappers to perform in front of an audience.

A Springboard for Local Talents

One of the strengths of Festival Endurance lies in its commitment to highlighting local artists. From its very first edition, the festival has given a voice to rappers, dancers, and producers from the department, offering them a stage and visibility on the national circuit. Artists such as UZAC, a rapper from Manosque, Neyo Leo, SVMBRE, and Maelys have performed alongside renowned headliners like INFINIT', a pillar of the Parisian rap scene who has collaborated with Alpha Wann and Kaaris, MISA from Marseille, and Dario Della Noce.

A Festival Rooted in its Territory

Located in the heart of the MJC of Manosque, the festival takes over several emblematic venues in the city: the MJC forecourt, the concert hall La Capsule, the Café de la Poste, and Le Lapsuce. This urban itinerancy strengthens the link between the festival and the city, transforming Manosque into a true ephemeral capital of Provençal urban cultures. Access to most events is free, reflecting the organizers' desire to make culture accessible to as many people as possible.
