A festival by and for citizens

For over twenty years, the Festival les Arts en Folie has enlivened the heart of Sarlat every May. This major cultural event is designed by and for citizens, valuing everyone's skills while respecting differences. Local schools present the work done by students throughout the year.

Visual arts, performances, and tales

The program combines visual arts workshops, live performances, tales and stories, in a multidisciplinary approach that makes the conceptual concrete and accessible to all. Creative workshops, open to schoolchildren and the general public alike, take place at the Ancien Évêché and in the historic center of Sarlat.

Collective creations

Each edition gives rise to collective creations, such as mural paintings made during the workshops, which are then exhibited at the Sarlat Cultural Center, testifying to the richness of the exchanges and the creativity of the participants.
