The musical spring of Argonne's cafés

Created in 2010 by the association Pays d'Argonne, the Les Bars Bars Festival is an original cultural initiative that animates the cafés and bars of the Argonne region for several months in the spring. The concept is simple and effective: selected establishments host regional music groups for intimate concerts in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

A festival of the territory

The Les Bars Bars Festival unfolds across a vast territory covering three departments: Marne, Meuse, and Ardenne. From Sainte-Ménehould to Varennes-en-Argonne, from Les Islettes to Vouziers, cultural cafés become meeting places between artists and the public in a spirit of proximity and sharing. This territorial dimension is the richness and originality of the festival.

Support for regional artists

The festival's principle is based on promoting regional musical talents. Participating establishments choose the bands they wish to host and pay them, while the Pays d' Argonne association ensures regional coordination, programming, partial cost coverage, technical support, and communication. This organization helps professionalize artist reception while maintaining the friendly spirit of café concerts.
