Hiking festival on the most beautiful trails of Moselle
Since 2007, the Festival Rando Moselle has been the unmissable event for hiking enthusiasts in Lorraine. Organized by the Saint-Quirin Tourist Office and the Club Vosgien, this event celebrates the natural and cultural riches of Moselle through walking and outdoor activities.
The festival takes place over three days around Saint-Quirin, a picturesque village in southern Moselle nestled in the heart of the Vosges hills. More than 40 hikes are offered starting from the village, providing a range of routes for all levels and tastes.
The originality of the Festival Rando Moselle lies in its thematic hikes that go far beyond simple walking. The program includes musical walks accompanied by musicians along the way, wellness hikes combining walking and relaxation in nature, creative outings blending art and nature, historical immersions guided by local heritage enthusiasts, and sports challenges for the most seasoned hikers.
In addition to hiking, the festival offers mountain bike outings on the forest trails and paths of southern Moselle. Treasure hunts and orienteering courses add a fun dimension to the event, appealing to families and groups of friends.
Saint-Quirin, listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France, is the ideal starting point for these hikes. Its priory, chapels, deep forests, and hills offer an exceptional natural and heritage setting. Hikers discover a preserved territory, between beech and fir forests, flowery meadows, streams, and charming villages.
The Festival Rando Moselle is also a time for conviviality and sharing. Meals and entertainment are organized in the village, allowing hikers to gather after their efforts. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, in the spirit of the great outdoor festivals of Moselle.
