Two days of free festivities
The Town Festival takes place over two days, Saturday and Sunday, and offers a dense and varied program centered around circus arts and live performances:
- Acrobatic circus shows with invited professional companies and Cirque Ovale (children's circus cabaret, family workshops)
- Crazy race Bréti'Pouss: family race with strollers or rolling objects, starting at Jean Jaurès school
- Creative and sensory workshops: make-up, ephemeral tattoos, vegetable inks, kamishibaï
- Sports activities: demonstrations by Amicale Laïque (classical, hip-hop, jazz, traditional dances), Art du Déplacement (CSB Gymnastique), climbing wall, games from the toy library
- Children-family treasure hunt and teen-adult photo rally
- Participatory activities: "le Merveilleux" carousel, Zic'Ô'Maton (photos), VR Bus, giant Connect Four against the Mayor
- Giant paella and dance party (by reservation) on Saturday evening

The 2025 Town Festival was held on Saturday, June 7 and Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Place du 11 Novembre 1918. On the program: circus shows with Cirque Ovale (children's cabaret from 2:15 PM, acrobatics, workshops), make-up, Kamishibaï, climbing wall, games from the toy library. Activities from 2 PM, free admission.
2026 Edition
The 2026 Town Festival will be held on Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24, 2026, at Place du 11 Novembre 1918, with a rich program centered around circus arts: "Sur les Rails" show (acrobatic circus on Saturday at 6 PM), Cirque Ovale Children's Cabaret (Sunday 2:15 PM), giant paella and dance party (Saturday 7:30 PM, by reservation), Bréti'Pouss 8th edition race (Saturday 9:30 AM), King Bombo brass band for the closing (Sunday 6 PM). Free admission.

The Brétigny-sur-Orge Town Festival 2026 will be held on Saturday, May 23rd and Sunday, May 24th, 2026, at Place du 11 Novembre 1918, for two days of activities, shows, games, and family fun, centered around circus arts and live performance. Organized by the Brétigny-sur-Orge Town Hall (the first « Ville Durable et Innovante » label in France), this edition aims to be eco-responsible.
Highlights of the 2026 edition
- Bréti'Pouss 8th edition (Saturday 9:30 AM): a crazy family race with strollers and rolling objects, starting from Jean Jaurès school. Prizes for the most beautiful stroller and the first in each lap.
- « Sur les Rails » show (Saturday 6:00 PM): acrobatic circus featuring hobos waiting for a train, accompanied by live music.
- Giant paella and dance party (Saturday 7:30 PM, by reservation at [email protected]) with on-site waste sorting.
- Cabaret des Enfants du Cirque Ovale (Sunday 2:15 PM): acrobatic acts by children accompanied by a professional company.
- « Mon Petit Jardin » show (Sunday 10:00 AM and 11:15 AM): early childhood morning, a visual, musical, and sensory show for ages 6 months and up.

Parking PSR de la Gare free from Saturday, May 23rd 6:00 AM to Sunday, May 24th 8:00 PM. Several city center streets will be closed to traffic during the event.

Access
By RER: RER C, Brétigny-sur-Orge station. 10 min walk from Place du 11 Novembre.
By car: N20 direction Étampes, exit Brétigny-sur-Orge. City center parking. During the Town Festival, the PSR Gare parking is free (from Saturday 6 AM to Sunday 8 PM). Several city center streets are closed to traffic during the event (Rue de la Paix, Rue du Baron Fain, Avenue Victor Hugo, Avenue Pasteur, Rue de Stalingrad, Boulevard de la République depending on the schedule).

Free admission for all activities and shows. The giant paella on Saturday evening requires prior reservation ([email protected]).
