About Fête de la Musique in Saint-Laurent-du-Var
Every June 21, Saint-Laurent-du-Var celebrates the Fête de la Musique: several free stages are set up in the streets, squares, and parks of the city. From Place Castillon to Parc du Jaquon, cover bands, soul, gospel, and choirs perform outdoors. Organized by the City with AGASC and local merchants, the evening is entirely free and open to all.
The Fête de la Musique in Saint-Laurent-du-Var
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms Saint-Laurent-du-Var into an open-air stage every June 21. Music freely takes over public spaces, from mid-afternoon until night, in all genres and for all audiences.
Several stages in the neighborhoods
The festival unfolds in different neighborhoods of the commune, with stages set up notably on Place Castillon and in Parc du Jaquon, but also on Esplanade Pinea, the forecourt of the Notre-Dame de l'Assomption church, and in Parc Robinson, where choirs and local groups perform. On the program: cover bands, soul, gospel, pop rock, and festive music, with refreshment stands and food available on site.
