The Saint-Gilles Festival, a votive and patron saint festival in Saint-Gilles (Gard), takes place from August 28 to 31, 2026. Four days of Camargue traditions: abrivado, bandido, encierro, Camargue races, peñas, and a funfair in the heart of the town.
The votive festival of Saint-Gilles, organized by the Association des Festivités pour Saint-Gilles in conjunction with the municipality, will take place from August 28 to 31, 2026, in Saint-Gilles, in the Gard. For four days, the town will live to the rhythm of Camargue bullfighting traditions and the festive atmosphere of the south of France.
On the program: abrivados and bandidos in the streets, Camargue races and abrivado competition in the arenas, encierro, children's and youth day, grand old-fashioned parade, lunch in the fields, gaze festival, funfair, and peñas that liven up the commune. The festival concludes with a fireworks display at the arenas.
