The Épinay-sous-Sénart Associations Fair: The must-attend back-to-school event
Located at the edge of the Sénart forest in Essonne, Épinay-sous-Sénart dedicates a major day to its local community life. The town promotes it as the "essential back-to-school event": a perfect opportunity for anyone looking to take up a sport, discover a new passion, meet new people, or get involved in local life to find the activity that suits them best.
An association forum at the Parc de l'Europe
The heart of the day is the association forum, where local groups gather in one place to showcase the wealth of their activities—sports, culture, leisure, solidarity, and wellness—and welcome new members for the coming year. The Parc de l'Europe, the town's vast green space, hosts most of the major festive events organized by the municipality, including this fair; previous editions were held at the Alain Mimoun stadium (Saturday, September 10, 2022, and Saturday, September 9, 2023).
Demonstrations, taster sessions, and entertainment
Beyond the booths, the town hosts demonstrations and taster sessions offered by the associations, as well as entertainment and games for the whole family. Food is available on-site. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The association voucher
In previous years, the town provided residents with a €25 association voucher to help fund a membership in a local club, upon presentation of proof of address and identity—the voucher distributed during the 2025 edition was valid until November 8, 2025. This scheme has not been announced for the 2026 edition: please check with the Community Life department before relying on it.
