The Fishermen's Festival at Loguivy Port
The Fete des Pecheurs de Loguivy is an annual event that celebrates the maritime heritage of the port of Loguivy-de-la-Mer, located in Ploubazlanec in the Cotes-d'Armor. This fishing port, historically associated with lobster fishing and the epic of the Terre-Neuvas, opens its quays to the public for a day of celebration around the sea and maritime tradition.
Sea Trips and Nautical Flea Markets
Free sea trips are the highlight of the festival: the public can board the port's boats to discover the coastline and experience sailing. Nautical flea markets offer used maritime equipment, while direct sales stands allow visitors to discover seafood products. Various activities - inflatable structures, carriage rides, games - complete the program for families.
Music, Fries, and Fireworks
Singing groups and music liven up the port throughout the day. The catering features fresh fish with tuna fries, sausage fries, and mussel fries. The day concludes with fireworks launched from the port, offering a pyrotechnic show over the waters of Tregor.
