About Fête des Vendanges
Every year in early September, the Fête des Vendanges de Cheverny brings together around thirty winemakers from the Cheverny and Cour-Cheverny AOCs in the village square of Cheverny (Loir-et-Cher). Wine tasting is free from 11:00 am to 6:30 pm; only the commemorative tasting glass, priced at 5 €, is required, which also grants access to the concerts. The day kicks off between 8:30 am and 10:00 am with hiking and cycling tours through the vineyards, followed by traditional grape pressing and children's activities, wrapping up with live music on the village stage. Admission is free.

15th Edition — Saturday, September 5, 2026
The Fête des Vendanges de Cheverny returns on Saturday, September 5, 2026, to the Place de l'Église in Cheverny (Loir-et-Cher). It is organized by the collective of winemakers from the AOC Cheverny and Cour-Cheverny appellations, united under the Syndicat des vins de Cheverny, located at 1 avenue du Château.
The Day's Schedule
The day begins in the vines: walkers and cyclists depart from Place de l'Église between 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM, with no prior registration needed. Starting at 11:00 AM, nearly 30 winemakers will open their stands on the square, with tastings continuing until 6:30 PM alongside various activities.
