Every first Saturday of September, the town of Marcoussis launches its back-to-school season with a bang by organizing the Fête du Village, combined with the traditional Forum des Associations. In the green and spacious setting of the Parc des Célestins, this free day from 10:30 AM to 10 PM has become the unmissable popular event of the Essonne back-to-school season.

The Associations Forum: Local Fabric in the Spotlight

The Fête du Village de Marcoussis is first distinguished by its strong associative dimension. The Forum des Associations brings together all the clubs and associations of the town — sports, cultural, solidarity, environmental — who set up their stands in a dedicated aisle of the park. This marketplace of engagement allows Marcoussis residents to discover at a glance everything their town offers in terms of activities, meetings, and leisure.

Support vouchers are distributed to residents to facilitate their membership in a local association, demonstrating the municipal will to strengthen the associative fabric. Each stand offers demonstrations, introductory sessions, and registrations, creating a positive and constructive buzz.
