The international urban sports festival at the foot of the Porte de Mars
Since 2024, Reims has been one of the host cities for the FISE Xperience Series, the French version of the renowned Festival International des Sports Extrêmes, which originated in Montpellier in 1997. Organized by Hurricane Group, a global leader in urban sports event organization, FISE Xperience Reims transforms the Porte de Mars esplanade into a true playground for riders and the public.
The sports program at FISE Xperience Reims brings together the best freestyle urban sports disciplines. BMX Freestyle Park and Freestyle Scooter Park are the flagship events, with competitions counting towards the French Cup. Skateboarding is also featured with an Open Contest organized in partnership with La Cartonnerie, an iconic performance venue in Reims.
In 2025, parkour became an official competition for the first time, alongside speed running. These spectacular disciplines add a new dimension to the event, illustrating the constant evolution of urban sports.
True to the FISE spirit, access to FISE Xperience Reims is completely free. Friday is dedicated to practice sessions, while Saturday and Sunday host the competitions. Free introductory sessions are offered to the public, allowing people of all ages to try BMX, scooter, or skateboarding under the guidance of professionals.
Beyond the competitions, FISE Xperience Reims offers a festive and relaxed atmosphere. Food stalls, musical entertainment, partner village, and a relaxation area punctuate the weekend. The event attracts a diverse audience, from sports enthusiasts to families looking for impressive sporting entertainment.
FISE Xperience also serves as a launchpad for emerging riders from the Grand Est region. Young local talents have the opportunity to compete against the best national and international athletes, creating a virtuous cycle for the development of urban sports in the region.
The third edition of FISE Xperience Reims is confirmed from Friday, June 26 to Sunday, June 28, 2026 on the Esplanade de la Porte de Mars, in the heart of Reims. An official stage of the FISE Xperience Series 2026 (the national tour of the International Festival of Extreme Sports organized by Hurricane Group), the event brings together the best BMX Freestyle, freestyle scooter, and skateboard riders for a weekend of urban competitions with entirely free access. The detailed program (qualification and final schedules by discipline) will be communicated by the organizer closer to the event.
