Floralinxe, the Linxe plant festival
Floralinxe is a plant festival held in early autumn at Parc Dufau, in the heart of the Landes village of Linxe. The Floralinxe association has been organizing it since 2023; the 2026 edition will be the fourth.
Nursery owners and collectors from Western France
The event primarily brings together nursery owners, growers, and collectors from the Grand Ouest region of France: rare and collector plants, local and exotic species, herbs, seeds, and fruit trees for edible forests. Artisans such as potters, basket makers, and designers also exhibit alongside local producers.
Two hectares of wooded parkland
The stalls are spread across the two hectares of wooded grounds at Parc Dufau. The village hall hosts an exhibition of art and delicate plants.
The 'wheelbarrow taxis'
Near each entrance, volunteers with wheelbarrows are available to carry purchased plants to visitors' cars in exchange for a tip. This service is a highlight of the festival, just like the refreshment bar and food trucks.
Activities and dining
Activities take place throughout the day. A refreshment bar run by the association and various food trucks are set up on-site. Admission is free.
