About Foire Expo de Gap
The economic showcase of the Hautes-Alpes
Created over forty years ago, the Gap Foire Expo has become the major event of the Hautes-Alpes department. Every year in May, the Parc de la Pépinière, a large green space in the heart of Gap, transforms into a temporary city hosting over 200 exhibitors from across the department and beyond. The event attracts nearly 70,000 visitors over nine days, confirming its role as a showcase for the economic and cultural life of the Hautes-Alpes.
A diverse offering for all audiences
Exhibitors represent a wide variety of sectors: housing and construction, gastronomy and local products, well-being and health, automotive, art crafts, gardening, new technologies, tourism, and leisure. Demonstrations, tastings, and activities punctuate the park's pathways, allowing the public to discover local expertise and innovations.
Festive evenings and concerts
Every evening, from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm, the Foire Expo takes on a festive atmosphere with a food court offering local specialties and open-air concerts. The musical program, varied and friendly, attracts a wide audience, from families to young people, in a relaxed atmosphere in the heart of the Parc de la Pépinière.
A locally rooted event
The Gap Foire Expo is organized by the services of the City of Gap and is part of a dynamic to promote the Hautes-Alpes territory. The 2025 edition, the 43rd, notably highlighted the Hautes-Alpes as its central theme. Free admission and a nine-day duration allow all residents and visitors of the department to enjoy this unifying event.

The 44th edition of the Gap Foire Expo, from May 8 to 17, 2026, at Parc de la Pépinière in Gap. For ten days, over 220 exhibitors occupied 24,000 m² of exhibition space, divided into five thematic halls: housing and construction, gastronomy and local products, well-being and health, automotive and mobility, crafts and new technologies. Free entry, stands open daily from 10 am to 7 pm, followed by a catering area and open-air concerts until 10:30 pm.
Gap Foire Expo 2026 — 44th edition
The 44th edition of the Gap Foire Expo took place from May 8 to 17, 2026 at Parc de la Pépinière, in the heart of Gap. For ten days, the fair showcased 24,000 m² of exhibition space and welcomed over 220 exhibitors from across the Hautes-Alpes department and the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.
Five thematic halls
- Housing and construction: energy renovation, carpentry, insulation, swimming pools.
- Gastronomy and local products: local producers, cheeses, honeys, Alpine charcuterie.
- Well-being and health: naturopathy, balneotherapy, sport.
- Automotive and mobility: dealerships, electric vehicles, two-wheelers.
- Crafts, gardening and new technologies: local creators, outdoor landscaping, home automation.
A different theme each day
The 2026 edition offered a different activity each day, with highlights dedicated to each major theme of the fair (gastronomy, housing, well-being, etc.) — demonstrations, tastings, and meetings with exhibitors punctuated the park's aisles.
Festive evenings
Every evening from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm, the catering area located in the heart of the park extended the day with open-air concerts of various genres (rock, pop, variety, DJ), featuring local and regional artists. Access to the evenings was free, in a family-friendly and convivial atmosphere.
Free entry throughout the fair, stands open from 10 am to 7 pm.

Access
The Foire Expo takes place at the Parc de la Pépinière, 8 Avenue Maréchal Foch, 05000 Gap.
- By car: Gap is accessible via the N85 (Route Napoléon) and the N94. Parc de la Pépinière is located in the city center, with parking nearby.
- By train: Gap SNCF station (TER lines from Marseille, Grenoble, and Briançon). Parc de la Pépinière is a 15-minute walk from the station.
