The economic showcase of the Hautes-Alpes

Created over forty years ago, the Gap Foire Expo has become the major event of the Hautes-Alpes department. Every year in May, the Parc de la Pépinière, a large green space in the heart of Gap, transforms into a temporary city hosting over 200 exhibitors from across the department and beyond. The event attracts nearly 70,000 visitors over nine days, confirming its role as a showcase for the economic and cultural life of the Hautes-Alpes.

A diverse offering for all audiences

Exhibitors represent a wide variety of sectors: housing and construction, gastronomy and local products, well-being and health, automotive, art crafts, gardening, new technologies, tourism, and leisure. Demonstrations, tastings, and activities punctuate the park's pathways, allowing the public to discover local expertise and innovations.

Festive evenings and concerts

Every evening, from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm, the Foire Expo takes on a festive atmosphere with a food court offering local specialties and open-air concerts. The musical program, varied and friendly, attracts a wide audience, from families to young people, in a relaxed atmosphere in the heart of the Parc de la Pépinière.

A locally rooted event

The Gap Foire Expo is organized by the services of the City of Gap and is part of a dynamic to promote the Hautes-Alpes territory. The 2025 edition, the 43rd, notably highlighted the Hautes-Alpes as its central theme. Free admission and a nine-day duration allow all residents and visitors of the department to enjoy this unifying event.
