Hobbies Passions Tarbes: the passion for hobbies and collections

Heir to the «Foire des Hobbies» launched in 1974 in the new halls of the Parc des Expositions de Tarbes, the fair was rebranded «Hobbies Passions Tarbes» during its 43rd edition, in October 2017, under a new format. Spread over approximately 18,000 m² and five halls, it was one of the major family autumn events in Bigorre.

Model making, scale models and collections

It featured model making in all its forms — radio-controlled planes, helicopters, boats, drones, and cars, with highly popular demonstrations — an international competition for scale models and figurines, an «enthusiasts' village,» creative hobbies areas, and numerous collections (electric trains, pins, antique objects) as well as art crafts.

A fair supported by volunteers

The event relied on the commitment of hundreds of volunteers from the local associative fabric, who made it a friendly fair accessible to the whole family, attracting a large audience every autumn from all over the Hautes-Pyrénées department and beyond.
