International Festival of Magic: Magical Excellence in the Heart of the Loiret
Since 2014, the International Festival of Stars of Magic and Circus Stars has established itself as one of the most prestigious events for magic and circus in France. Organized by the international association Mental Arts Magie with the support of the municipality of Fay-aux-Loges, this unique festival brings together artists from around the world every March in the warm village hall of this town in the Loiret region, about twenty kilometers northeast of Orléans.
Three Days of Breathtaking Shows
The festival takes place over a full weekend, from Friday to Sunday, and offers four exceptional galas that delight audiences of all ages. The Golden Trophies Galas A and B, true artistic competitions, reward the best magic and circus acts. The Gala of Prestige on Saturday evening, the highlight of the festival, brings together the biggest names in the discipline under the honorary presidency of show business personalities. Finally, the closing gala on Sunday concludes the festival in a festive and friendly atmosphere.
Exceptional International Artists
Each edition hosts about forty professional and confirmed amateur artists from France, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium, Germany, Argentina, Serbia, Ivory Coast, Austria, Papua New Guinea, Canada, Ukraine, and many other countries. Over the years, the festival has welcomed renowned artists such as Fabien Olicard (Golden Trophy for mentalism at the first edition), Fred Ericksen, Yann Brieuc (world champion of comic magic), Igor Trifunov (Balkan magic champion), Alfredo Lorenzo (student of Hans Klok), and the duo Elastic and Francesca (world juggling champion 1995).
A Festival Driven by Passion
At the head of this festival is Roger Chabin, better known by his stage name Marcello, a passionate mentalist and magician, president of the Mental Arts Magie association, and artistic director of the festival. Surrounded by his team of dedicated volunteers, he composes a program each year that combines close-up magic, grand illusions, mentalism, manipulation, magic comedy, and circus acts of exceptional quality. The Fay-aux-Loges village hall, with a capacity of about 420 seats, offers a rare proximity between artists and the public, making each show even more striking.
A Family-Friendly and Accessible Event
The International Festival of Magic is a family show, accessible to all ages. Wonder, dreams, and illusion are at the heart of each performance, creating unforgettable memories for children and adults alike. The festival also offers catering and social moments, with free parking nearby. Accessible to people with reduced mobility, it embodies the values of sharing and discovery that have driven the Mental Arts Magie association since its creation.
