Lyrical, electric, and collective jazz festival in the Meuse region
Jazz à Commercy is a festival that makes the 'city of madeleines' vibrate to the rhythm of jazz. Every March, the Cinéma François Truffaut in Commercy transforms into a jazz stage to host talented musicians celebrating all facets of this music: lyrical, electric, and collective jazz.
The festival is structured around three highlights spread over a weekend:
The festival has notably hosted Stéphane Belmondo on flugelhorn and trumpet, alongside local and regional duos and ensembles. The programming showcases both nationally renowned professional musicians and emerging talents from the conservatories of the Grand Est region.
Commercy, a sub-prefecture of the Meuse department, is famous for its madeleines and its Château Stanislas. The Jazz à Commercy festival is part of the cultural dynamism of this distinctive town, offering music lovers a quality event in a remarkable heritage setting.
With ticket prices ranging from 2 to 25 euros, Jazz à Commercy aims to be accessible to as many people as possible. The festival encourages the discovery of jazz and encounters between professional musicians, amateurs, and the public in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
