Kamo Con

The Pop Culture Event of Dijon

Kamo Con is the convention dedicated to Asian culture and pop culture in Dijon, organized by the Dijon-based association Kamo Event. Since its creation in 2016, the event has continuously grown, from 2,500 visitors at its first edition to over 12,500 visitors in 2024, spanning more than 10,000 m² at the Palais des Congrès de Dijon.

Manga, Video Games, Cosplay, and Geek Culture

The convention brings together about a hundred professional exhibitors, young creators, enthusiasts, and cultural associations centered around the worlds of manga, comics, video games, cosplay, science fiction, and geek culture in general. Visitors can explore sales booths, exhibition areas, cultural and sports workshops, as well as various animation zones.

Distinguished Guests and Activities

Each edition hosts prestigious guests: actors, YouTubers, professional cosplayers, dancers, and artists from around the world. The program includes conferences, cosplay contests, video game tournaments, workshops (manga, origami, Japanese calligraphy), and martial arts demonstrations.

Kamo Event: An Ecosystem of Pop Culture Events

The Kamo Event association also organizes Kamo Play, a convention focused on geek universes, science, technology, and video games in October, and KamoPolis in Besançon. All these events contribute to keeping pop culture alive in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté throughout the year.
