25 years of jazz in Treignac

Kind of Belou was a festival of jazz and improvised music organized every year on the first weekend of August in Treignac, Corrèze. Created in 2000, the festival offered innovative, eclectic, and festive concerts for 25 years, with the mission to democratize jazz and make it accessible to all audiences. The first notes of the festival resonated on Friday, July 28, 2000, at the Treignac town hall with the Orchestre Régional de Jazz du Limousin, marking the beginning of a musical adventure that lasted a quarter of a century.

A festival off the beaten track

Kind of Belou distinguished itself with its innovative and festive programming, featuring renowned jazz artists and emerging groups from the French and international scene. The festival hosted concerts of traditional jazz, modern jazz, free jazz, improvised music, funk, electro-jazz, and many other sounds from the jazz universe. Each edition was an opportunity for musical discoveries, encounters between artists and the public, and moments of sharing in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, characteristic of the festival's spirit.

The last edition in 2025
