Kiosq'N'Rock: Rock and Air Guitar in Mirande
Kiosq'N'Rock is a unique festival, blending rock concerts and air guitar competitions on the Place d'Astarac in Mirande. Since 2015, it has become a festive and quirky event in the Gers musical landscape.
French Air Guitar Championship
The festival hosts the final of the French Air Guitar Championship, a spectacular competition where contestants mime guitar playing with energy and creativity. The semi-finals and the final take place during the festival, under the watchful eye of a jury presided over by a celebrity.
Rock Concerts
Three evenings of free concerts feature tributes (Pixies, System of a Down) and original rock, punk, metal, and garage bands. DJ sets extend the evenings late into the night.
Free and Friendly Festival
Kiosq'N'Rock is completely free and open to all. Food and drinks are available on-site. The festival also offers a festival shop and record stalls.
