The dub and reggae meeting of the Marne
Kolenzik is a festival dedicated to reggae, dub, and sound system cultures held every summer in Beine-Nauroy, twenty minutes from Reims. Supported by the association Kol en Zik, this two-day event offers live concerts, sound systems, DJ sets, workshops, and ethical stalls in a rural setting. The festival has become a must-attend event for lovers of deep bass, good vibes, and human warmth in Champagne.
Since 2013, the Kolenzik festival has been making the bass vibrate in the Champagne countryside. Born in Villers-Marmery before settling in Beine-Nauroy, this unique festival has forged a strong identity around reggae, dub, and sound system cultures. Just twenty minutes from Reims, Kolenzik offers a unique musical interlude in a relaxed, rural setting.
Each edition of Kolenzik offers a carefully selected program that showcases the different facets of reggae and dub. Live stage, sound systems, DJ sets: the formats complement each other to offer a complete sound experience. The festival has hosted internationally renowned artists such as Asian Dub Foundation and Soom T, while also making ample room for discoveries and emerging artists.
Kolenzik aims to be a committed and responsible event. Participatory workshops, ethical stalls, local food trucks: the festival offers a global experience that goes beyond music. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, driven by a team of passionate volunteers, makes each edition a moment of sharing and conviviality.
Supported by the association Kol en Zik, based in Beine-Nauroy, the festival benefits from the support of the municipality and the Grand Reims urban community. This local anchoring translates into special attention paid to local producers and artisans, present on site through catering stalls and associative spaces.
