The 2000s are back in the heart of Nice
Born in 2022 from an original idea, La Kermesse Festival has found its place in the Nice festival scene by focusing on a unique concept: bringing together the iconic artists of the 2000s in a festive and nostalgic atmosphere. The Théâtre de Verdure, a green setting in the heart of Nice facing the Promenade des Anglais, offers an ideal setting for this musical journey back in time.
A unique concept on the French Riviera
La Kermesse Festival stands out from other festivals in the region with its bold positioning. Rather than focusing on current trends, the event celebrates a pivotal era of popular music: the 2000s. Pop, dance, R&B, hip-hop, and French and international variety music share the stage at the Théâtre de Verdure, recalling a decade rich in hits and musical icons.
Iconic headliners
Over its editions, La Kermesse Festival has hosted an impressive lineup of artists who marked the 2000s. Among the most iconic names are Alizée, Lou Bega, K.Maro, Rohff, Zaho, O-Zone, Shy'm, Cascada, Boney M, Ophélie Winter, Tribal King, Jessy Matador, and many others. Each edition features about twenty artists spread over three days.
The Théâtre de Verdure, an enchanting setting
The festival takes place at the Théâtre de Verdure, located in the Jardin Albert 1er on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice. This open-air theater, built in 1946, can accommodate around 3,200 spectators in a green setting facing the sea. The atmosphere is unique: concerts are enjoyed during the mild Mediterranean summer evenings, lulled by the sea breeze.
A growing event
Since its creation, La Kermesse Festival has been growing steadily. From a single evening in 2022, the festival has expanded to three days with an increasingly dense program. For its 4th edition in 2025, no less than 21 artists were on the program, confirming the event's ambition to become the unmissable rendezvous for musical nostalgia in France.
