About Haillan Chanté

Le Haillan Chanté is a francophone song festival jointly organized by L'Entrepôt (cultural facility of the city of Le Haillan) and the Bordeaux Chanson association. Born in 2010, it offers a program dedicated to French and francophone song in all its forms every year at the beginning of June: singer-songwriters, sensitive pop, folk, intimate or more festive formats.

The festival stands out for its friendly formula: concerts in the L'Entrepôt hall or on the terrace, audience seated in deckchairs, free aperitif-concerts, and a human-scale family setting in the heart of the Bordeaux metropolitan area.

Le Haillan Chanté, the song event of the Bordeaux metropolitan area

Since 2010, Le Haillan Chanté has annually brought together francophone artists of song, sensitive pop, and folk in the Gironde commune of Le Haillan, west of Bordeaux. The festival is co-produced by the municipal cultural facility L'Entrepôt and by the Bordeaux Chanson association, a reference structure for francophone song in Nouvelle-Aquitaine.

A family-friendly and convivial formula

The festival's signature is its human-scale format: concerts in the L'Entrepôt hall, on the terrace, or in the garden of the adjoining Music School, audience seated in deckchairs, free aperitif-concerts in the early evening, on-site bar and catering. The festival also regularly hosts a photo exhibition related to its theme.

A program balancing headliners and discoveries

The program alternates between recognized headliners (Emily Loizeau, La Maison Tellier, François & The Atlas Mountains, Klô Pelgag depending on the editions) and more confidential formats highlighting the young francophone scene: «Partie à Trois» (three singer-songwriters who sing in turn), «Pochette Surprise» on the terrace (festival artists who perform two or three songs with simplicity), opening acts dedicated to emerging artists.

L'Entrepôt, a recognized cultural facility

L'Entrepôt, located on rue Georges Clemenceau in the center of Le Haillan, is the main cultural facility of the commune and hosts a live performance season throughout the year. Le Haillan Chanté is one of its annual highlights, alongside other events like Le Haillan Jazz.

Haillan Chanté — edition 2026

The 15th edition of Le Haillan Chanté takes place from Wednesday, June 10 to Saturday, June 13, 2026 at L'Entrepôt du Haillan. On the program: Frédéric Bobin (singing Lavilliers), François & The Atlas Mountains, La Maison Tellier, Emily Loizeau, plus free aperitif-concerts on the terrace (Charles-Baptiste, Paul Roman, La Pochette Surprise) and discovery events in the garden of the School of Music (Partie à Trois #13, Melba).

2026 Edition: The 15th Le Haillan Chanté

To celebrate its 15th edition, Le Haillan Chanté offers four evenings dedicated to French-language song from Wednesday, June 10 to Saturday, June 13, 2026, featuring headliners, discoveries, and several free formats.

Headliners

Four paid events at 8:30 PM/9:00 PM in L'Entrepôt's hall: Frédéric Bobin sings Lavilliers as the opening act on Wednesday, François & The Atlas Mountains on Thursday, La Maison Tellier (presenting their album Timidité des Arbres) on Friday with Oré as the opening act, and Emily Loizeau on Saturday as the closing act with Eskelina as the opening act.

Free Aperitif-Concerts and Discovery Formats

On Saturday afternoon, two paid formats at 5 € in the garden of the School of Music: Partie à Trois #13 (Oré, Sophie Le Cam, and Paul Roman take turns performing each other's songs) at 2:30 PM, and Melba at 6:00 PM. Finally, La Pochette Surprise, a traditional free event at 4:00 PM on the terrace, where festival artists perform two or three songs with simplicity.
