The 2026 edition of Les Botaniques de Chaumont-sur-Loire will take place on Saturday, September 19th and Sunday, September 20th at the Domaine de Chaumont-sur-Loire. 24 specialist nursery growers from across France and Belgium, along with four garden artists and artisans, will be showcasing their collections. The program includes four lectures, and the "Coup de Cœur des Botaniques" award will be presented on Saturday at 2:00 PM. The weekend coincides with the European Heritage Days.

A plant exhibition and sale

On September 19th and 20th, 2026, nursery growers brought together by the Plantes et Cultures association will set up their stands at the Domaine de Chaumont-sur-Loire. 24 producers from various French regions and Belgium will be selling their cultivated collections: specialized varieties, rare or heirloom plants, species for dry or wet environments, citrus, bamboo, ferns, conifers, peonies, roses, carnivorous plants, aquatic plants, and wild-origin native species.

Four lectures

On Saturday, Pascal Garbe will discuss garden flavors at 11:15 AM, Bénédicte and Michel Bachès will share the history and diversity of citrus fruits at 3:00 PM, and Pierre-Alexandre Risser will present "A garden that reflects me" at 4:30 PM. On Sunday at 3:00 PM, Baptiste Pierre will explore the sexuality of plants at the Potager Extraordinaire.

The Coup de Cœur des Botaniques award

The award will be presented on Saturday, September 19th at 2:00 PM by a jury of plant industry experts. It recognizes a plant for its botanical or horticultural originality, aesthetic quality, and vigor ("Côté Jardin"), and an exhibitor for the quality of their stand presentation and the information provided to the public ("Côté Cour").

Artists and artisans

Four exhibitors round out the event: nesting boxes and pollinator hotels, drawings and watercolors, garden furniture and metal sculptures, and irrigation ceramics.
