Les Estivales de Rombas

More than 20 years of summer celebration

Since 2003, the City of Rombas has been offering Les Estivales every summer, a series of free festive evenings open to all. This event, which has become a true local institution, enlivens the Place de l'Hôtel de Ville every Friday evening for six consecutive weeks, from early July to mid-August.

A varied program every Friday

The Estivales program alternates between different types of shows to satisfy all audiences:

• Orchestras and popular balls: musical groups take over the square with a dedicated dance floor, inviting young and old to dance under the stars.
• Street performances: companies offer circus-themed entertainment combining acrobatics, juggling, and live performance arts.
• Fireworks: pyrotechnic and pyromusical shows punctuate the season, offering a magical spectacle above the city.

A unifying event

Les Estivales are more than just a series of concerts: they are a true moment of social cohesion for the municipality of Rombas and its surroundings. Each evening is an opportunity for residents to gather in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

Food and conviviality

From 6:30 PM, Rombas associations take care of the on-site catering: drinks, sandwiches, sweets, and pastries accompany the festivities throughout the evening. This organization also helps support local associative life.

A dedicated space for families

To the delight of families, the team from the Maison de l'Enfance sets up an outdoor play area every Friday with bouncy castles and activities for children, transforming Les Estivales into a true family celebration.

In the heart of the Orne valley

Rombas, a town in the Orne valley located about twenty kilometers northwest of Metz, offers a pleasant setting for these summer evenings. The Place de l'Hôtel de Ville, the central point of the town, transforms every Friday into an open-air festival venue, bringing together several hundred people at each event.

Accessibility and free admission

True to its popular vocation, all of Les Estivales are offered with free admission. This access policy allows all residents of the living area to fully enjoy these summer activities without financial constraints.
