Created in 2008, Les Estivales du Canal has established itself as a must-attend summer event in Vierzon. Every year in July, the festival offers free concerts in the enchanting setting of the Jardin de l'Abbaye, on the banks of the Canal de Berry, providing unforgettable moments for festival-goers.

Les Estivales du Canal offers a varied musical program that blends French chanson, reggae, rock, pop, and world music. Renowned artists such as Tiken Jah Fakoly, Oldelaf, Christophe Mali (Tryo), Soviet Suprem, The Locos, and Emilie Loizeau have performed on the festival stage.

Les Estivales du Canal return to Vierzon for their 19th edition, from July 3 to 19, 2026, with nine entirely free concerts in the green setting of the Jardin de l'Abbaye, on the banks of the Canal de Berry. A festive and eclectic program, from ska to reggae, including rock, blues, French chanson, and Latin music.
A 19th free edition by the canal
For its 19th edition, from July 3 to 19, 2026, Les Estivales du Canal festival offers nine free concerts at the Jardin de l'Abbaye, behind Vierzon town hall. Concerts are held on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and the evening continues with Off concerts at the guinguette du Quai du Bassin.
The 2026 program mixes ska, rock, reggae, blues, French chanson, and Latin music, with artists from Ireland, Jamaica, Spain, Austria, and France.
