For summer 2026, the Pont du Gard sound and light show unfolds every evening from July 4th to August 30th, 2026, at nightfall (around 10:30 PM). The world's highest Roman aqueduct bridge becomes a monumental screen 275 meters long onto which an unprecedented video creation is projected.
An original creation by Groupe F and Robert Combas
The 2026 creation, titled "War and Peace", is born from the encounter between Groupe F's mastery of video mapping and the flamboyant imagination of painter Robert Combas, a figure of Figuration Libre. Characters, graphic lines, and electric colors come alive on the ancient arches, accompanied by an original soundtrack. The show, linked to Robert Combas's "War and Peace" exhibition presented on site, lasts about twenty minutes.
How to enjoy it
The show is free to access: you can settle on the beach and the banks of the right bank to watch the projection. It is advisable to arrive before nightfall to enjoy the sunset over the monument. On-site parking is paid (9 € per vehicle, free for subscribers).
