A unique concept: the meeting of electro and gastronomy

Born in 2014, the festival Les Fourchettes Soniques created an original concept in Indre-et-Loire: the meeting between electronic music and gastronomy. At the Parc des Expositions de Tours, festival-goers can alternate between Electro Nights in the Grand Hall, where international DJs electrify the dance floor from 9 PM to 4 AM, and a gastronomic village where winemakers, restaurateurs, and artisans from the region offer local products and exotic specialties.

Memorable Electro Nights

Les Fourchettes Soniques quickly established itself as the major electro event in Touraine thanks to its high-caliber programming. Among the artists who have set the Grand Hall of the Parc des Expositions ablaze: Martin Solveig, Don Diablo, W&W, Quentin Mosimann, Joachim Garraud, Sander Van Doorn, Robbie Rivera, DJ Ralph, Dim Chris, Michael Calfan, and Ummet Ozcan. The formula has attracted up to 20,000 visitors during its most successful editions.

A festival rooted in the gourmet Touraine

Beyond music, Les Fourchettes Soniques celebrates the gastronomic richness of Touraine. The gourmet village offers tastings of Loire wines, culinary creations by local chefs, and regional products. This dual dimension—musical and gustatory—is the festival's originality and attracts a diverse audience, from electro fans to epicureans seeking new flavors.

Landmark editions at the Parc des Expositions

The festival has had several editions between 2014 and 2019, taking over the Grand Hall of the Parc des Expositions de Tours for its Electro Nights. The 2014 edition launched the concept over three days (May 16-18), followed by editions in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. Each year, the festival has managed to renew its programming while maintaining its identity: a festive marriage between electronic beats and gastronomic pleasures.

An event awaiting renewal

After an interruption due to the health crisis, the festival remains on standby. Organizers have not yet announced a new edition, but the unique concept of Les Fourchettes Soniques still holds its full potential in the Tours festival scene, at the crossroads of music and the art of living.
