The essential rock and metal festival of the Tours metropolis
SidFest is a festival dedicated to rock, punk, and metal music, held annually in September at the Oésia cultural complex in Notre-Dame-d'Oé, a town in the Tours metropolis. Organized by the Rock Style association, the festival has, in a few years, become a must-attend event for the alternative rock and metal scene in the Centre-Val de Loire region.
SidFest offers a balanced lineup between established bands and emerging acts, covering a wide spectrum of heavy music: alternative rock, punk rock, metal, grindcore, stoner, and hardcore. The 2025 edition featured prestigious names such as Les Fatals Picards, Klone, No One Is Innocent, Black Bomb A, Elmer Food Beat, Les Ramoneurs de Menhirs, Akiavel, BreakStuff, Ashen, and Bernard Minet Metal Band. The festival thus blends humor, raw energy, and musical discovery.
The Oésia cultural complex, located on Rue de Fizes at the Chassetière roundabout in Notre-Dame-d'Oé, provides an ideal setting for hosting a festival of this scale. An indoor performance hall and an outdoor space allow festival-goers to enjoy the concerts in optimal conditions, regardless of the weather. The site is easily accessible from Tours, just a ten-minute drive away.
Driven by the Rock Style association and a team of passionate volunteers, SidFest cultivates an associative and family-friendly spirit. A bar and a food stand are available on-site, offering beers, wines, soft drinks, burgers, fries, and other treats. The atmosphere is warm, with a loyal audience that gathers each year to share their passion for rock and metal.
Edition after edition, SidFest gains notoriety and capacity. The festival now attracts festival-goers from all over the region and beyond, drawn by the quality of the lineup and the friendly atmosphere of the venue. The sold-out 2025 edition confirms SidFest's status as one of the most anticipated metal festivals in Touraine.
The SidFest returns on September 11 and 12, 2026, to the Oésia cultural complex in Notre-Dame-d'Oé, near Tours, for its 10th edition (5th in Notre-Dame-d'Oé). Two days of rock, punk, and metal with Tagada Jones, Marcel et son Orchestre, Celkilt, Shaârghot, Darcy, and over a dozen bands. Tickets available for pre-sale on HelloAsso.
For its 10th edition (and the 5th organized in Notre-Dame-d'Oé), SidFest takes over the Oésia cultural complex on Friday, September 11 and Saturday, September 12, 2026. Supported by the Rock Style association, the festival celebrates a decade of rock, punk, and metal music in Touraine with an eclectic lineup featuring confirmed headliners and rising bands.
The 2026 program covers a wide spectrum of powerful music: energetic punk, industrial metal, Celtic rock, hardcore, and festive rock songs. Friday is led by punk hardcore veterans Tagada Jones, accompanied by Celkilt (Celtic rock), Cachemire, Hurakan, and The Broken Horizon. Saturday brings together the unmissable Marcel et son Orchestre, the industrial metal collective Shaârghot, Darcy, Primal Age, White Sofa, and From the Inside.
