The history of Les Galettes du Monde began in 2006 as a modest Donkey Festival in Sainte-Anne-d'Auray. Over the years, the event has gradually transformed into a true regional festival that has retained its original DNA: combining musical discoveries and culinary journeys while supporting humanitarian and associative causes.

An International Gastronomic Village

The heart of the festival is its gastronomic village where about thirty associations set up their stands to present their culinary specialties. From Breton galettes to Mexican galettes, from Japanese crepes to Indian flatbreads, this international village invites visitors on a world tour of flavors. The proceeds generated by these stands are fully donated to fund humanitarian and associative projects.

A Festive Musical Program

Les Galettes du Monde offers a varied musical program over two days, with concerts of world music, French chanson, rock, reggae, and festive music. The open-air stages host both regional artists and nationally renowned bands, creating a festive and danceable atmosphere from early afternoon until late at night.
