Free concerts and activities in the Cévennes
Organized by Collectif MoM, Les Hebdos de l'Été offers free open-air concerts every week during the summer in the villages of the Lozère Cévennes. From Florac to Sainte-Enimie, from Pont-de-Montvert to Saint-Germain-de-Calberte, these itinerant musical events combine world music, electro-pop, hip-hop, circus, and performing arts in a festive and family-friendly atmosphere, in the heart of landscapes classified as UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Every summer, the Collectif MoM transforms village squares and natural spaces in the Lozère Cévennes into open-air concert venues. Les Hebdos de l'Été offers a weekly program of entirely free concerts and shows, accessible to all, in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere that is the hallmark of this unmissable summer event.
The richness of Les Hebdos de l'Été lies in the diversity of its musical program. Each week, invited artists travel through the Cévennes villages to offer shows of various styles: world music, electro-pop, hip-hop, blues, Balkan music, circus, and street theater. The concerts are held in rotation in seven communes: Florac, Pont-de-Montvert, Sainte-Enimie, Saint-Étienne-Vallée-Française, Quézac, Saint-Germain-de-Calberte, and Montbrun.
This itinerant format allows it to reach a large and diverse audience, combining permanent residents, second-home owners, and passing tourists in this region classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site for its cultural landscapes of Mediterranean agro-pastoralism.
The Collectif MoM, based in Florac-Trois-Rivières, is a cultural association committed to the dissemination of performing arts in rural areas. By organizing Les Hebdos de l'Été, the collective pursues its mission of making culture accessible to the greatest number of people, by offering free events in territories far from major cultural metropolises.
The collective relies on a network of volunteers and local partners to ensure the reception of artists, the logistics of concerts, and the animation of the evenings. Each event is an opportunity to bring local communities together around a festive and shared moment.
Attending Les Hebdos de l'Été means experiencing a unique musical experience in exceptional natural settings. The open-air concerts, often held at dusk, offer a rare combination of live music, Cévennes landscapes, and village conviviality. Spectators are invited to bring their picnics and blankets to enjoy summer evenings where music resonates between the mountains and valleys of the Cévennes.
Over the seasons, Les Hebdos de l'Été has become an eagerly awaited event for residents and visitors, contributing to the tourist and cultural attractiveness of Lozère during the summer period.
