Les Jeudis du Haras

Equestrian shows every Thursday in summer

The Jeudis du Haras are the highlight of the summer season at the Haras national de Lamballe, a heritage site founded in 1825 in the heart of the town of Lamballe-Armor. Every Thursday from mid-July to the end of August, the Syndicat Mixte du Haras offers a full program of entertainment for families and equestrian enthusiasts.

Two shows per day

The highlight of each Thursday is the grand equestrian shows, offered at 2:30 PM and 5:30 PM in the main riding arena and the outdoor arena of the Haras. Riders and their mounts present various disciplines: classical dressage, carriage driving, long-reining, vaulting, liberty shows, and artistic performances. The Breton horse, an emblematic breed of the region, holds a special place in the program.

Family entertainment

In addition to the shows, visitors can enjoy guided tours of the historic stables and the Haras site, pony rides for children, carriage rides in the park, and a permanent exhibition dedicated to the history of the stud farm and the Breton horse. A catering area offers crepes, galettes, and drinks.

Evening concerts

Les Jeudis du Haras continue into the evening with open-air concerts in the exceptional setting of the Haras. The musical program is eclectic, mixing folk, rock, world music, and Breton music. In 2025, the concerts will feature Mô'ti Tëi (folk rock) and Passion Coco (Colombian music and psychedelic rock).
