A photographic event in Gironde
Born in the early 2000s at the initiative of the association Qui de l'œuf ou de la poule ?, the Les Photographicofolies festival gathered professional, amateur, and passionate photographers each summer around the sharing of images, complementary techniques, and advice. It had obtained the label « Scènes d'Été en Gironde » awarded by the Conseil général de la Gironde.
The 2014 edition, the 11th of its name, was held at château Bômale, in Saint-Denis-de-Pile, and had environment and biodiversity as its theme. It featured eight exhibitions by professional photographers (Angelle Keller, Arthur Péquin, Jacques Gillon, Lilian Marolleau, Bernard Brisé, Arnaud Bertrande, Vincent Bonnefoy, Sébastien Manach), an « OFF » exhibition, a mini photo equipment fair, and practical workshops led by image professionals.
