Les Rencontres du 23ème Type was a festival that took over the streets and squares of La Souterraine in mid-summer, transforming the town center into an open-air stage. Organized by the Centre Culturel Yves Furet, this event offered a rich program combining street arts, concerts, live performances, and artistic encounters.

An eclectic and accessible program

True to its multidisciplinary spirit, the festival welcomed street theater companies, musicians from all horizons, visual artists, and performers. The program prioritized free access and accessibility, allowing all audiences to discover varied artistic forms in a festive and friendly atmosphere. The 2018 edition, for example, brought together on stage groups such as Lysistrata, Karma To Burn, Mars Red Sky, Mon Côté Punk, and Forever Pavot.
