Multidisciplinary, free, and intergenerational eco-festival in Fursac, Creuse
Created in 2007 by the Creuse Toujours association, the LéZart Vert Festival is a multidisciplinary eco-festival that stands out for its participatory and intergenerational mission. For three days, the village of Saint-Étienne-de-Fursac transforms into a space for meetings, expression, and creation open to all. The festival highlights the Creuse landscape while raising public awareness of ecological issues and sustainable development.
The LéZart Vert program combines concerts of current and world music, live performances, participatory workshops, conferences, screenings, and debates. The evenings are marked by major free concerts that have hosted artists such as La Dame Blanche, a Cuban singer blending afro-latin, hip-hop, and dancehall, or Ragapop, a Ukrainian electronic post-punk band. The festival prioritizes artistic diversity and committed contemporary trends.
One of LéZart Vert's strengths is its total freeness: all shows, workshops, concerts, and events are accessible without a ticket. Supported by about sixty volunteers, the festival has maintained a human and family dimension while professionalizing over the editions. With attendance reaching 5,000 people, LéZart Vert has become a must-attend event on the Creuse cultural scene, combining artistic excellence and conviviality.
The LéZart Vert Festival returns from July 24 to 26, 2026, to Saint-Étienne-de-Fursac (municipality of Fursac, Creuse) for its 20th edition. This multidisciplinary eco-festival offers three days of concerts under a big top, shows, workshops, and debates, with a Saturday largely open to free family activities. Headliners for 2026: Johnny Makam, Megadisq, Pixvae, ZFO Collectif, and a big traditional dance.
