There is no edition scheduled in 2026 for this event. This page remains accessible to archive the history of the manifestation and will be updated if a new edition is announced.
ℹ️ Unique edition in 2022 — event currently on hold. At the time of our editorial verification (May 2026), only one edition of L'Onglois Festival is publicly documented (on June 25, 2022) and we have found no source announcing a new edition. The Ongles festival committee remains active with other events, but the music festival no longer seems to be held currently. If a new edition were to be organized, please do not hesitate to inform us via the modification form.
Nestled in the picturesque village of Ongles, at an altitude of 650 meters on the foothills of the Lure mountain, L'Onglois Festival (also known as Onglois Fest) was born in 2022 from the will of a group of volunteers passionate about music and cooking. Organized by the association « Entre Fuon é Bastié », the Ongles festival committee, this human-sized festival embodied the festive and supportive spirit of the villages of Haute-Provence.
The strength of L'Onglois Festival lay in its deliberately varied and accessible musical program. The first edition offered a complete musical journey: from the musical aperitif with the duo L'Instant Brassens paying tribute to the great Georges, to the energetic rock-blues of the duo After Hours, passing through the quirky acoustic rock of Petite Raoul (« acoustic but not too much »), the wild afro-funk brass band Syndicat du Chrome, up to the beautiful closing with the electronic sets of Organized Bazar. This musical diversity was the hallmark of the festival, which aimed to introduce emerging artists and original groups to the Provençal public.
L'Onglois Festival was not limited to music. From the opening in the early afternoon, children's activities took place with games, creative workshops, and pony rides, making the festival a true family gathering. The culinary dimension was also at the heart of the project: a refreshment stand and on-site catering allowed visitors to savor local specialties while enjoying the concerts. The festival made it a point of honor to promote local products and Provençal gastronomic know-how.
True to its values of sharing and accessibility, L'Onglois Festival was an entirely free event. The organizers nevertheless invited spectators to participate according to their means, following the principle of "pay what you can". This solidarity approach allowed everyone to enjoy a quality musical evening in an exceptional setting, without financial barriers.
The village of Ongles, with its medieval streets, its ruined castle, and its panoramas over the Largue valley and the Lure mountain, offers a magnificent natural setting. Located between Forcalquier and Banon, in the Luberon Regional Natural Park, this preserved territory invites strolling and discovering Provençal heritage. L'Onglois Festival contributed, during its 2022 edition, to the cultural animation of this rural territory and to the vitality of the local associative fabric.
ℹ️ 2026 edition not confirmed — event on hold. At the time of our editorial check (May 2026), we found no public source (organiser, town hall, tourist office, local press, aggregator) announcing a 2026 edition of L'Onglois Festival. The only documented edition remains that of June 2022. The Ongles festival committee remains active with other village events, but the music festival does not seem to be held currently.
ℹ️ 2026 edition not confirmed. No date or programme for 2026 could be confirmed for L'Onglois Festival. The listing is kept for the event's history (unique edition in June 2022 in Ongles, Haute-Provence). Should a new edition be organised by the festival committee « Entre Fuon é Bastié », please do not hesitate to inform us via the listing modification form.
