L'Paille à Sonique: The Energy of Rock and Electro in Winter

Born in 2023, L'Paille à Sonique is the winter sibling of the L'Paille à Sons festival. Organized by the association Les Sons du Sous-Sol, it takes place every winter at the Salle André Malraux in Luisant, on the outskirts of Chartres, to offer two evenings of intense and electrifying concerts.

An Alternative and Eclectic Program

True to the eccentric spirit of L'Paille à Sons, L'Paille à Sonique explores the realms of alternative music: punk rock, metal, hard rock, electro, post-punk, and other genres that make the walls of the Salle André Malraux vibrate. The lineup mixes renowned headliners with emerging bands, with a particular focus on discovery and stage energy.

An Indoor Festival for Winter

Unlike L'Paille à Sons, which takes place outdoors in June, L'Paille à Sonique takes over a concert hall in February, providing an ideal setting for amplified concerts and a club atmosphere. The Salle André Malraux in Luisant, with its intimate setup, allows for exceptional proximity between the artists and the audience.

The Association Les Sons du Sous-Sol

L'Paille à Sonique is driven by the same team of passionate volunteers who organize L'Paille à Sons. The association Les Sons du Sous-Sol thus continues its mission of promoting contemporary music in the Eure-et-Loir region, offering musical events throughout the year, both summer and winter.
