2025-2026 Marchés au Gras in Peyrehorade
The 2025-2026 season of the Marchés au Gras resumes in the covered market halls of Peyrehorade. Every Wednesday morning from mid-November 2025 to mid-March 2026, fattened waterfowl producers from the southern Landes offer their finest pieces: fresh foie gras, whole fattened ducks, fattened poultry, confits, magrets, gizzards, and artisanal preparations.
Come as early as 8 a.m. to take advantage of the best selection and interact directly with the passionate breeders who perpetuate the gastronomic know-how of the Vallée des Gaves.

Access to the Peyrehorade Market Halls
By Car
Peyrehorade is accessible via the D817 from Dax (30 min) or the D33 from Bayonne (35 min). Parking spaces are available near the market halls, on the market square and in the adjacent streets. During the fattened produce market season, crowds are significant, and it is advisable to park a little further from the town center.
By Train
The Peyrehorade station is served by the TER Nouvelle-Aquitaine lines connecting Bayonne to Dax. The market halls are about a 5-minute walk from the station, making the market easily accessible by public transport.

The Marchés au Gras are held every Wednesday morning, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., from mid-November to mid-March. It is strongly advised to arrive early, from 8 a.m., to benefit from the best selection of products and negotiate directly with producers.
Prices
Access to the market is completely free. Product prices are set by each producer and vary according to the quality, size, and weight of the items offered. It is customary to negotiate with the breeders.
