Belvès, medieval town celebrating
Classified among the Most Beautiful Villages of France, the medieval town of Belvès offers an ideal setting for a medieval festival. Every summer, its alleys, squares, and ramparts transform into a true Middle Ages village, animated by historical reenactment groups.
A program rich in entertainment
The festival offers a complete program throughout the day:
- Knightly shows: combat on horseback and on foot, demonstrations of weapons and armor.
- Performing arts: jugglers, acrobats, fire-eaters, stilt walker processions, medieval music and dances.
- Artisan village: costume makers, blacksmiths, potters, calligraphers, and other ancestral crafts.
- Medieval banquet: a lively meal in the spirit of medieval feasts.
Games and entertainment for everyone
Games for adults and children are offered throughout the day, inviting the public to actively participate in the festival. Entertainment begins at 10 am and continues until late in the evening with fire shows.
