The multidisciplinary micro-festival around extreme music
Metal Culture(s) is a unique festival, born in 2011 in Gueret under the impetus of the association Yeaprod. Defining itself as the most multidisciplinary micro-festival around extreme music, it stands out for its ability to blend genres and artistic disciplines.
Over four days, Metal Culture(s) offers a unique mix of concerts, cinema, conferences, cine-concerts, and exhibitions. The musical program covers a wide spectrum: stoner, black metal, death metal, hardcore, industrial, post-metal, and many other sub-genres. Nearly 30 bands perform at each edition in an intimate setting.
The festival takes place at the Espace Andre Lejeune in Gueret, a cultural venue that offers an ideal setting for this type of event. The human-scale atmosphere allows for privileged exchanges between artists and the public, making Metal Culture(s) a cult event for extreme music lovers.
The 2026 edition of Metal Culture(s) will take place in May at the Espace Andre Lejeune in Gueret. The festival will continue its mission to promote extreme music in all its forms, with a program mixing concerts, cinema, conferences, and exhibitions. The lineup will be announced on metalcultures.com.
