The island of DJs at Château de Grillemont
The Moorea Festival, nicknamed "The island of DJs", is an electronic music festival born in 2024 in the gardens of Château de Grillemont, in La Chapelle-Blanche-Saint-Martin, south of Indre-et-Loire. This young festival has quickly established itself as the largest electro event in Touraine, offering a weekend of musical immersion in an exceptional heritage setting.
The festival takes place in the gardens of Château de Grillemont, a historic estate offering a unique backdrop for a musical event. The vast lawns, tree-lined paths, and the majestic silhouette of the castle create a magical atmosphere, particularly striking at nightfall when the light shows enhance the landscape. This blend of historical heritage and contemporary music gives Moorea Festival a unique visual and atmospheric identity.
Moorea Festival features two stages with distinct musical identities. The Maatea stage, the main stage, hosts headliners and the most ambitious sets. The Haapiti stage is dedicated to emerging talents and discoveries. The musical universes offered cover a wide spectrum of electronic music: techno, house, dance/pop, hard music, latino, and electro. The 2025 edition hosted over twenty DJs, including Showtek (legends of big room and hard scene), Vladimir Cauchemar (mysterious and avant-garde artist mixing rap and electronic), Mosimann, Henri Pfr, Boris Way, Billx, Mattn, DJs From Mars, and Sound Of Legend.
Beyond the music, Moorea Festival offers a complete festival experience. Camping is available on the estate, allowing festival-goers to fully enjoy the weekend. Food and drink areas, bars, and relaxation zones are set up in the castle park. Festival-goers can thus experience an enchanted break of three days, away from everyday life, to the rhythm of electronic basslines and melodies.
From its first edition in 2024, Moorea Festival has captivated a large audience of electronic music lovers. Its second edition in 2025 confirmed the enthusiasm with a strengthened international lineup and increased attendance. The festival aims to become a must-attend event on the French electro scene, driven by a unique setting and a demanding program.
3rd edition of the Moorea Festival, from Friday, June 5 to Sunday, June 7, 2026 at Château de Grillemont, in La Chapelle-Blanche-Saint-Martin (southern Touraine). Three days of electronic music with an XXL lineup featuring Dimitri Vegas, Timmy Trumpet, Oliver Heldens, Blasterjaxx, Sub Zero Project, Morten and about fifteen other international and French DJs spread across two stages in the castle park.
From Friday, June 5 to Sunday, June 7, 2026, the Moorea Festival returns to Château de Grillemont for its 3rd edition. After a 2nd edition that welcomed over 12,000 festival-goers in 2025, the organization strengthens its lineup with a bill bringing together international headliners and French talents, over three evenings in the castle park.
The 2026 program, fully unveiled by the organization in spring, gives pride of place to big room, hard music, house, and techno. It features global stars of the electro circuit (Dimitri Vegas, Timmy Trumpet, Oliver Heldens, Blasterjaxx) alongside highly prominent French artists (Joachim Garraud, Sound of Legend, Leblanc) and more underground discoveries (Trym, Hypaton, Third Party).
The festival runs from Friday 5:00 PM to Sunday 1:30 AM, with a gradual opening in the late afternoon and sets that follow one another until the heart of the night. The tree-lined park of Château de Grillemont hosts the stages, catering areas, and an integrated camping village. The castle's heritage setting, enhanced by luminous scenography, forms the visual identity of the festival.
The «Moorea Village» allows festival-goers to camp in the immediate vicinity of the site. Official ticketing is managed via Weezevent, with 1-day, 2-day, 3-day passes and VIP offers, payment in installments (Klarna) and cancellation insurance possible. Admission is free for children under 12 years old.
