Metal Roars in Moselle

MozHell Open Air was born in 2024 from a shared passion for metal music and a desire to give Moselle its own major metal festival. Located in Insming, a small rural commune in eastern Moselle, the festival has quickly established a strong identity, blending the power of metal with the unique atmosphere of the Moselle landscape and the local legends that permeate the event's visual universe.

An Ambitious Lineup

Despite its youth, MozHell Open Air boasts an impressive lineup featuring international caliber artists and bands from the French and European metal scene. The 2025 edition notably hosted names such as Carpenter Brut, Fear Factory, Soulfly, Pro-Pain, Novelists, Pogo Car Crash Control, and Deficiency, offering a broad spectrum of metal's diverse facets: thrash, death, groove, industrial, and alternative metal.

An Open-Air Festival

The festival's open-air format provides an immersive experience in the heart of nature. The main stage is set outdoors, allowing festival-goers to enjoy the music under the Moselle summer sky. The site's natural acoustics and the absence of walls create a unique atmosphere, perfect for wall of deaths, circle pits, and crowd surfing.

Camping and Camaraderie

A campsite is available for festival-goers who wish to fully immerse themselves in the MozHell experience. The campsite allows the festival vibe to continue between concerts, fostering opportunities to meet fellow enthusiasts and enjoy the community spirit that is the DNA of metal festivals. Food and drink stalls complete the offerings on site.

A Festival in Full Expansion

Following a successful first edition in 2024, MozHell Open Air confirmed its ambition in 2025 with an even more extensive two-day lineup. The 2026 edition, planned for three days, marks a new stage in the festival's growth, establishing itself as a major player in the metal scene in the Grand Est and the cross-border Greater Region.
