Every June 21, Beaupréau-en-Mauges celebrates the Fête de la Musique: amateur musicians and local groups freely take over the streets and squares of the city center for a festive evening. Supported by the local associative network, the festival is entirely free and open to all, in the purest tradition of the national event.

As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the town of Beaupréau into an open-air stage every June 21. Music freely takes over public spaces, from early evening until late into the night, in all genres and for all audiences, on the shortest night of the year.

Usually, several open-air stages are set up in Beaupréau city center, animated by groups and musicians from the Mauges territory. Choirs, street bands, French chanson, rock, funk, and festive music follow one another throughout the evening to make the town's streets and squares vibrate.
