The Fête de la Musique in Cannes

As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Cannes into an open-air stage every June 21. Music freely takes over public spaces, from the afternoon until late evening, in all genres and for all audiences — from gospel to rock, from pop to French chanson.

A festival spread across several districts

Usually, the City of Cannes designates several stages distributed between the city center and the western districts. The Allées de la Liberté, right in the heart of Cannes, traditionally host an open-air program, while the La Bocca district (market square, Étang square) offers its own stages. Bars, associations, and music schools complete the entertainment in the streets.
