About Music Festival in Draguignan
Every June 21, Draguignan celebrates the Fête de la Musique: the entire city center transforms into an open-air stage. Boulevards, streets, and squares host more than 30 groups playing for free from 7 PM to midnight, in all styles — rock, jazz, soul, funk, salsa, country, swing, and blues. Organized by the City of Draguignan, the evening is entirely free and can be enjoyed with family or friends in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The Fête de la Musique in Draguignan
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the heart of Draguignan into a major popular musical event every June 21. From 7 PM until midnight, music freely takes over public spaces: amateur musicians and established groups take turns on about fifteen stages set up along the boulevards and in the city squares.
A festival throughout the city center
The 2026 edition brings together more than thirty groups spread across sixteen locations in the city center, from the boulevards Marx Dormoy, Clemenceau, and Joffre to the squares Cassin, du Marché, du Dragon, aux Herbes, and des Comtes de Provence, passing through rue de la République, rue Mireur, or rue des Endronnes. Each stage has its musical color: rock and pop, jazz and swing, soul and funk, reggae, salsa, country, or blues coexist from one street to another, offering a musical journey to explore as you wish.
