The Fête de la Musique in Échirolles
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Échirolles, the second largest municipality in the Grenoble metropolitan area, into an open-air stage every June 21. Music freely takes over public spaces, from early evening until late at night, in all genres and for all audiences.
A festival at the heart of the neighborhoods
Usually, the Place des Cinq Fontaines is one of the highlights of the evening, with entertainment and an open-air concert. The city's bars and restaurants host musicians on their terraces or indoors, while the Jean-Wiéner municipal conservatory participates in the event with its ensembles and students.
