The Fête de la Musique in Haguenau

As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Haguenau into an open-air stage every June 21. A sub-prefecture of Bas-Rhin, the Alsatian city welcomes amateur musicians, emerging groups, and passionate artists who play for free in the squares and streets, from late afternoon until the heart of the night.

A celebration throughout the city center

Usually, several stages are set up in the emblematic places of the center: the theater forecourt, the Quai des Pêcheurs, and the Cour de la Décapole are among the highlights, complemented by other squares and public spaces. The program, open to applications from local groups, brings together French chanson, rock, blues, jazz, funk, reggae, as well as classical and harmony music.
