Every June 21, Meyzieu celebrates the Fête de la Musique: local bands, amateur musicians, and guest artists perform for free outdoors in the town's streets. In the heart of the Métropole de Lyon, the evening is entirely free and open to all, from early evening until the middle of the night.

As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Meyzieu into an open-air stage every June 21. Music freely takes over public spaces, in all genres and for all audiences, to celebrate the arrival of summer.
