Every June 21, Six-Fours-les-Plages celebrates the Fête de la Musique (Music Festival): numerous open-air stages are set up in the streets and squares of the city center, where amateur musicians and local bands perform for free. The city thus celebrates the beginning of summer with music, in a friendly atmosphere open to all.

As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms Six-Fours-les-Plages into an open-air stage every June 21. Music freely takes over public spaces, from early evening until late at night, in all genres and for all audiences, to celebrate the shortest night of the year and the arrival of summer.
