La Nuit du Blues is an annual concert organized by the association Musiques sur la Ville at the Salle André-Gallois in Fagnières, near Châlons-en-Champagne. For over twenty years, this event has brought together blues lovers for quality concerts featuring French and international artists. From roots blues to blues rock, including groove and soul, each edition explores the many facets of this music with passion and authenticity.
Created in the early 2000s, the Nuit du Blues in Fagnières has become an unmissable event for blues lovers in the Grand Est region over the years. Supported by the association Musiques sur la Ville, based in Châlons-en-Champagne, this annual evening perpetuates the tradition of live blues by welcoming talented artists to the stage of the Salle André-Gallois. The association, committed to cultural action and the promotion of contemporary music, organizes concerts and festivals throughout the year that keep the Châlons music scene alive.
Each edition of the Nuit du Blues offers a program that explores the different facets of blues: from delta blues to the most contemporary sounds, including blues rock, folk blues, groove, and soul. Over the years, the event has hosted renowned artists such as Fred Chapellier, Dirty Deep, Rozedale, Lee O'Nell Blues Gang, Slice & The Pocket Connection, and many others. The 23rd edition in 2026 will feature the trio Younger Spirit in neo blues rock and the group Red Beans & Pepper Sauce in classic rock and soul.
The Nuit du Blues takes place at the Centre de Culture André-Gallois in Fagnières, a cultural space located a few minutes from Châlons-en-Champagne. The venue offers acoustics adapted to blues concerts and an intimate capacity that fosters proximity between artists and the audience. Doors open at 7 PM for a concert start at 8 PM, allowing spectators to settle in comfortably before being carried away by the guitar riffs and powerful blues vocals.
True to the philosophy of the association Musiques sur la Ville, the Nuit du Blues remains an accessible event with moderate prices: €15 for the full price and €10 for the reduced price for students, job seekers, and people with disabilities. Admission is free for children under 12 years old. This pricing policy allows as many people as possible to discover the blues in optimal conditions.

The 23rd edition of Nuit du Blues will take place on Friday, February 27, 2026, at the Centre de Culture André-Gallois in Fagnières. The evening will feature two concerts: Younger Spirit, a neo blues rock trio from the Aube region inspired by Marcus King, John Mayer, and Eric Gales, followed by Red Beans & Pepper Sauce, an experienced band with over 500 concerts to their name, presenting their album Supernova with influences ranging from Jimi Hendrix to Led Zeppelin, including Sly & The Family Stone.
